Senior C&B Manager, Asia Pacific (based in Hong Kong)

Job Responsibilities

Based in Hong Kong 

1. Design Rewards Programs / Solutions  

  • Provide expert advice in close partnership with country ODHR / Reward team on designing and reviewing the retail reward programs with various business divisions in alignment with evolving retail excellence principles.  
  • Recommend and implement innovative rewards solutions with reference to the latest market trends and HR best practices to ensure the company stays competitive in the market and industry. Identify areas where we can create the difference.  
  • Provide professional advice, guidance, education and support to the ODHR organization and business managers regarding rewards programs.  

2. Job Evaluation  

  • Conduct job evaluation in close partnership with ODHR and business managers. 
  • Manage all job evaluation records and conduct annual review on job grades.  
  • Educate the ODHR community on job evaluation methodology to ensure proficiency.   

3. Expatriate Compensation Management  

  • Recommend appropriate package in line with prevailing mobility policy for inter-region and intra-region secondments / permanent local transfers / short term assignments.  
  • Maintain close partnership with global mobility community.  
  • Manage service level with destination service provider.  

4. Annual Compensation & Benefits Review Process Management  

  • Facilitate the annual salary, bonus and benefits review process. Partner with Finance to facilitate the compensation budgeting process.  
  • Work with selected vendors to provide competitive benefits programs, while optimizing costs and meeting regulatory requirements.   

5. Other Rewards Related Projects  

  • Manage and partner with service providers to ensure professional and cost effective service delivery. 
  • Keep abreast of emerging market trend and network with industry peers.  
  • Lead and manage rewards projects as assigned

 



Requirements

Based in Hong Kong

Requirements 

  • Bachelor Degree with major in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline. 
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) 
  • 8-12 years with specialized experience in regional rewards management, preferably in multinational organizations, retail business or companies in innovative industries.  
  • Strong experience leading and implementing rewards / HR projects across a wide region / multiple markets.  
  • Strong experiences designing sales commission / incentive plans.  
  • Strong experiences in expatriate compensation plan design and management.  
  • Well versant with job evaluation methodology.  
  • Highly analytical, meticulous, organized and results oriented.  
  • Strong drive to make things happen.  
  • Strong capability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, together with strong presentation skills.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage professionally with different levels of stakeholders for close work partnership locally, regionally and globally.  
  • Agile, ability to use discretion and deal effectively with uncertainty, change and ambiguity.  
  • Innovative, open-minded, proactive, independent and customer orientated.  
  • Strong understanding of the Brand, Business and Retail.  
  • Strong experience in using common HRIS tools.  
  • High learning agility.  
  • Well versed with external rewards trends, strong external network.
  • Emotionally grounded and humble
