Job Title: Sales Representative/Manager (Based in Tokyo)
Reports To: Country Manager, Japan
The key role of the Sales Representative is to maximize revenue from existing accounts and build new business individually and in conjunction with channel partners. He/she is expected to over achieve revenue quota while maintaining margins and minimizing cost of sales. Leads will be provided by the company but this role is expected to also develop original business.
ü Thoroughly understand every aspect of The company’s product line and business: strategy, assets, customers and technology in the context of this sales role, and leverage this into winning businesses in Japan.
ü Successfully articulate The company’s value proposition to maximum potential to customers, including channel partners, and establish The company as the preferred KVM and Power product provider. (PDU - power distribution unit/power monitoring and management system)
ü Achieve all designated sales targets and objectives.
ü Work strategically to develop and execute account plans to achieve targets and objectives
ü Manage, Motivate and Train any assigned resellers to achieve desired sales objectives.
ü Generate quality sales opportunities independently but to be ultimately fulfilled with the key partner.
ü Actively manage sales pipeline and ensure its accuracy and maximum efforts are made to close all reported sales opportunities.
o Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate types of service, upgrades or additional services
o Negotiating contracts with premiere organizations and key partner
o Build pipeline in excess of quarterly quotas as directed by senior sales manager
o Gather and analyze key customer, including partner, and other feedback from various programs and processes
ü Work closely with Power Business Development Manager to develop Power businesses and to ensure reach annual sales target.
ü Work in a manner that maintains the highest ethical standards.
ü Work in a manner that maintains the highest customer and partner service standards.
ü Report to the Country Manager, Japan directly.
ü A Bachelor Degree with 5 or more years of successful sales experience in networking technology, Data Center Infrastructure or Power industry, preferably a multi-national organization.
ü Business or Technical / Engineering Degree with a commercial customer focus.
ü Proven experience in managing customer / partner relationships, achieving revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies, preferably in data centers or enterprise companies (contacting to IT people and/or facility people).
ü Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment, with multiple organizational and management levels and cross functional departments.
ü Challenging spirit, strong will to reach goal
ü Strong communication skills coupled with strategic thinking and analytical skills.
ü Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, to meet deadlines, and to work under pressure.
